Rick was here yesterday and installed the connection. A very nice guy and he did a great job. Today Andy Smith from the City and County of Broomfield stopped by to perform the inspection. He said the plumbing work was one of the best jobs he had ever seen. Thanks.

After dealing with another plumbing company (3 visits) I gave up and called McAdams Plumbing. I needed to have a sump pump pit cleaned out and a new sump pump installed. Richard came out the same day I called to give an estimate. This was a Friday. Monday morning he arrived on time (actually early) and started working. He had to work in a VERY confined space, but he cleaned the pit, put in the proper size of drain line and installed the new sump pump.

McAdams Plumbing was very professional. I am a realtor and property manager, and I called McAdams Plumbing because my tenant's hot water heater needed to be replaced. They were able to come out the same day I called and they did a good job installing the water heater. I decided to call McAdams after seeing their phone number on the back of their truck. At the time, I was so frustrated with the person who originally installed the water heater, which was roughly a year old. I had spent 3 days trying to get that plumber to come replace the water heater and he never came.
When I called McAdams Plumbing, I was definitely in the market for a new plumber. I spoke with Rick, who told me that they serviced the Boulder area, where my rental property was located. I was impressed that he did exactly what he said they were going to do: He told me that he was on his way to another job but gave me a time frame in which he could get there, and he showed up in that time frame.
He was neat and clean, and did not leave a mess. I did not hear any complaints from my tenant. The quality of work was excellent. In the property management business, it can be a hassle if a contractor shows up late or doesn't call to let you know that they will be late. McAdams Plumbing did everything they said they would do in the time frame they said they would do it in. I was very pleased with the punctuality and follow-through.

I had to make an emergency call at 5:30 a.m. because there was water backing up into basement. I have had two other situations in my life where I have had to call for plumbers in an after hours, emergency situation. On both occasions, the guys who showed up looked disgusting. They were rude and dirty, and that is what I had in mind because it was after hours. But when Richard showed up, I was shocked. He was extremely professional and courteous to my wife and me. He brought new, top-notch equipment and it was clear he was a professional who was concerned with his service and his image. And his service was outstanding.
After completing all the work, Richard took time to carefully explain the issues, and then he ran a couple of tests that I felt were above and beyond the call of duty. And then he gave me a one year warranty that was, again, above and beyond scope of the job. I have already referred McAdams Plumbing to other people. And honestly, they were not much more expensive than their competitors, who were unwilling to come out anyway. Richard showed up in thirty-five minutes, whereas other companies I called were giving me twelve to fifteen hour wait times.
